During the economic downturn over the last few years, a large number of Seminole County businesses were forced to challenge their needs of traditional office space. A growing number have decided to try a new trend and have “gone virtual”. As the slowdown in businesses reduced the number of employees needed many companies found themselves in large office space (and an expense) that they just simply did not need. Some companies subleased or downsized their current space or moved into smaller space at another location. Others merged or joined up with other companies to fill the space they currently had. However a growing number of companies decided to take a non-traditional approach and embraced a Virtual Office presence and now run their businesses from home offices. With the rapid advancements in technology the new worker of today can truly be in all places at once without the need to commute to a central office daily. While benefiting the earth by eliminating another car on the road, studies have proven that a virtual office worker can be just as, if not more, productive as their peers in a traditional office.
For those who have done so, taking the step of moving from a brick and mortar location to a home office has presented a few challenges. Where do you meet clients? Do you want to list your home address as your business address? Can you always answer your phone or do you need a receptionist? Does your industry require a business address for licensing purposes? Do you have the time to wait around to sign for an overnight package?
There is a local company willing and able to help with these needs and more. Orlando Office Center opened on Primera Boulevard in Lake Mary this past July and provides businesses of all sizes with a variety of business focused programs. Small businesses now have an opportunity to present a professional image by accessing day offices, reception services, meeting rooms, mail, phone answering, and multiple business center services at an affordable price point.
How does it work? The full service business center has furnished office suites with phone and internet available by the day or hour, meeting rooms, as well as mail services, and personalized live telephone answering. Businesses can utilize any or all of the available products whenever best needed for them. The size and central location of the business center is conducive to businesses looking for high end customer service that will still meet their budget. The easy to find street level location at Orlando Office Center also presents easy access for meetings and easy mail or package pick up.
The Virtual programs are perfect for those who work from home or need a remote virtual office in Lake Mary. The monthly $99.00 Virtual Office provides a company their own business number, area code of choice. Calls are answered live and then transferred to wherever their business dictates – home offices, cell phone, out of state office or even straight to voicemail, if requested. In today’s fast paced world, businesses with personalized service stand out above others. This program also includes the use of our business address for mail and packages. For home based business it sometimes can be unsettling to list a home address on business cards and or marketing materials. Mail and packages are delivered to the center, sorted and held in a secured file. Each company then either comes in to pick up their mail, has it re-mailed to their remote office or scanned and emailed. The professional Primera address also gives a small business a large appearance.
Many virtual businesses find the hourly and daily programs beneficial. For example, anyone that works from their home may have a need to meet a client. Rather than meeting in a home office, or a coffee shop, the meeting can take place in a professional meeting room or day office for as little as $15.00 an hour, with all of the comforts of a professional office such as wireless internet, telephone, and immediate access to amenities such as copying, faxing and scanning. Orlando Office Center’s approach of superior customer service with affordable easy to understand pricing is enticing to all types of businesses.
As the world changes and technology keeps growing, the way people work will continue to change as well. . Virtual workers have embraced the multiple benefits of a home office while “outsourcing” their other business needs. The numbers are on the rise, with no signs of disappearing!

I think those virtual offices are a good idea. Having to commute to your workplace could be a drag sometimes, especially when you find yourself trapped in a rush hour traffic. One time, when I started my small company, I thought of getting a commercial lease. Florida, my home state, has a lot of available commercial properties available for lease. Now that I've read your post about virtual offices, maybe I'll think about it first.
ReplyDeleteThat is the idea! Virtual Offices can result in large savings in startup capital costs and ongoing monthly costs for small and large businesses. If you are close to Lake Mary please feel free to stop in to see us!

Virtual office space and virtual office executive is a good option for all the starting businessman but still cannot afford to have for an office to rent. This is also advisable if the businessman is not yet so sure about the business and he is just about to try.
